A variety of seal coating materials exist, including water-based and acrylic paint products, but our sole used is tar-based (UN 1999) which the data sheet for the product is attached above or click here. While water-based and oil-based may offer lower costs, they pose risks to asphalt. Devoid of tar components, these alternatives fail to uphold asphalt integrity and merely conceal issues rather than addressing them. Additionally, their faster expansion rate compared to asphalt leads to accelerated cracking over time, resembling webs of spiders.

- Edge off grass of side of the asphalt
- Gas powered broom to dig out dirt deep embedded in the asphalt and cracks alike
- Blow down the driveway with gas powered backpack blowers
- Tape off contours to avoid oversprays
- To achieve that matte black finish you desire, we apply two coats of tar simultaneously as we move down the driveway. This overlapping technique and quantity ensures a seamless application, eliminating any visible lines and delivering flawless results.

When doing pot hole repairs 3 options will be provided depending on your specific needs, expectations and budget. The option of doing a pot hole repair with cold patch, hot asphalt or doing a cut out and then applying hot asphalt in where the old asphalt was.

- Site Preparation: We begin by clearing the area of debris, old pavement, or obstacles to ensure a solid foundation.
- Grading & Excavation: Proper grading is essential to prevent water pooling. We level the surface and excavate if necessary.
- Base Installation: A strong base layer of gravel or crushed stone is compacted to provide stability of up to 10 inches. (only for areas where no prior base existed such as grass)
- Asphalt Application: Approximately 3” of high-quality hot mix asphalt is applied and spread evenly for a smooth surface.
- Compaction & Finishing: The asphalt is compacted using heavy rollers for durability and a professional finish.

Asphalt Ramp Repair GTA
Restore Garage Entry
Overtime many driveway’s asphalt sinks from where it used to meet with the garage. This in turn allows water to hit the base of the driveway and thus affects the rest of the asphalt causing heaves, cracks and potholes. Adding asphalt and extending it out to where it meets the rest of the driveway is crucial for the rest of the driveway’s survival and should be done immediately.
Steps we take for the job:
- Clean out where new asphalt will be added on top
- Spray a bonding material (not included if done with cold patch)
- Apply it evenly around so that it meets up with surrounding areas
- Use compactors to create the strongest bond possible
- 12 hours before you can drive on the new asphalt but do not twist your tires on it for a month or park on it.
If done with cold patch it will take a month, maybe longer to fully harden and you should not park on it or twist your tires on it.
When doing a ramp 3 options will be provided depending on your specific needs, expectations and budget. The option of doing a ramp with cold patch, hot asphalt or doing a cut out and then applying hot asphalt in where the old asphalt was.
